Following on from the launch of the YelloPort Elite® earlier this month, Surgical Innovations had the opportunity to entertain an international reception of distributors at this year’s World Forum for Medicine (Medica) in Dusseldorf, Germany.

15 distribution partners from around the world attended a presentation led by Surgical Innovation’s Executive Chairman, Nigel Rogers. Nigel addressed the distributors with a summary of the interim results for the first half of 2016, welcoming them to what will be the first of many distributor receptions, in which Surgical Innovations have the opportunity to showcase their latest products and gain valuable feedback from their distribution network.

The attendees were given first hand accounts from surgeons who had already used the YelloPort Elite®, endorsing its successful application in surgery as an effective Universal Seal. Lead design engineers from Surgical Innovations were also on hand to walk the distributors through the product’s advantageous features.

Positive feedback from surgeons resulted in several initial trial orders from distributors, to begin testing the YelloPort Elite® in their respective territories. Surgical Innovations is delighted with the results from the presentation at Medica and are expecting continued success as the YelloPort Elite® is launched into new territories.
