Surgical Innovations have recently launched Yelloport+ into the Mexican market with our partner Corporativo NeoMedica. We have won a large Mexican National Health Service contract, offering to provide the complete Yelloport+ Port access system for over 50,000 operations for a 3 year period, with the option to roll this out to other sites and specialities to emulate the success. The key driver of winning this business was based on the cost effective nature of the product and improving the quality of the products.
This marks a fantastic growth opportunity for Surgical Innovations, as well as providing an additional opportunity to leverage the success in Mexico to parts of South America that Surgical Innovations has targeted as key growth opportunities for the group.
Based on the company’s previously highlighted growth areas, Surgical Innovations is pleased to report we have concluded all regulatory documentation required for approval for the Russian regulatory body. Surgical Innovations expects to achieve the licence to be able to sell into Russian hospitals through our distribution partner at the end of 2016. With a population of 143,000,000 and a critical focus on cost reductions, Surgical Innovations sees this as a major development in the growth strategy of the branded product lines.
